What Tests Do We Use?

As Clinical Neuropsychologists we are trained to use many standardised tests. Here is a list of tests we often use at Connect The Dots Neuropsychology. The tests we use will be decided based on a child’s age and grade, and the reason they are seeing us.

Psychological tests we often use include:

  • Wechlser Intelligence Scale for Children - 5th Edition (WISC-V)

  • Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-IV)

  • Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III)

  • Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2)

  • Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development - Fourth Edition (Bayley-4)

We often use standardised questionnaires such as:

  • Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales - Third Edition

  • Connors - 3

  • Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function (BRIEF-2)

We also use specialised neuropsychological tests including:

  • Developmental NEuroPSYchological Assessment (NEPSY-II)

  • Wide Range Assessment of Memory and Learning (WRAML-2), and soon to be the WRAML-3

  • Children’s Memory Scale (CMS)

  • Test of Everday Attention in Children (TEACh)

  • Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS)

The list above doesn’t include all the tests we use. If you have heard of a particular test and would like to know more, please feel free to ask us about it. The use of many of these tests is restricted to qualified psychologists.
